      The purposes of the gGmbH are the promotion of science and research (§ 52 para. 2 no. 1 German Fiscal Code (AO)), the promotion of education ( § 52 para. 2 no. 7 AO), the promotion of consumer protection ( § 52 para. 2 no. 16 AO). The provision of information and dissemination for raising awareness of the topics “public digital networks” equally serve consumer protection.

      Under applicable law, we are obliged to inform consumers of the existence of the European Online Dispute Resolution Platform, which can be used to resolve disputes without having to go to court.
